Background: New Mexico Paints the Sky

sunset 1

I was in New Mexico for the holidays a few years back driving down a strip of two-lane blacktop in the mountains when the sky caught fire. The sunset took my breath away and I had to pull over for a good 15 minutes while the New Mexican sky burned with palate of colours no painter could think of mixing. It was amazing.

That’s sadly the end of the story. However, I assure you that if you go hunting for a sunset like this you are bound to have a good time and find some fun adventures. New Mexico is a beautiful and wild place.
